専門は、近現代経営史（特に戦後アメリカ経営史）と経営学（特に企業戦略論）
「マネジャーの信念、近代経済成長、近代企業(または現代企業)の変容」を大きなテーマとして、研究に取り組んでいます。
現在の個人研究は、「企業成長の経営史 / Business History on the Growth of the Firm」、「コングロマリットの経営史 / Business History on Conglomerate Firm」というテーマを念頭に、企業成長の転換という視点から、特にメディア産業・創造産業の発展と企業成長について、日米企業を研究してます。
