My research interests include economic and corporate growth, corporate diversification and managerial beliefs and so on. I am currently working on projects focused on the global business history of large electrical equipment firms in twentieth century, evolution of content industries in the twentieth century in Japan, history of media industries in the United States, and historical organizational studies.
I was born in a town next to the famous gyoza dumpling city, Utsunomiya, in Japan. My education was entirely spent on studying business management and history of business and economy in Meiji University, receiving a bachelor's degree in 2007 , a master's degree in 2009, and a PhD in 2016. During this period of study, I spent a year in Toronto, Canada in 2004 and in Boston, U.S.A. in 2010. I am a moderate foodie, seeking out good local food wherever I go.
